My Client

Over the last week back at school, i have successfully found a client for my final IGCSE project: Ms Walker, she is the head of History at my school. She needs a teaching resource that will help her lower year classes understand and comprehend history easily and effectively. I will produce a module amalgamated using of mixture of mainly Adobe Flash (to create animations), Adobe Photoshop(to create pixel images/graphics) and Xara Graphic and Photo Designer(to create vector images) and assembled in Adobe Flash Catalyst. It will be most likely a interactive quiz that will give them knowledge the topic, which will be 1900s China.

I have chosen to produce a module because i feel that it is one of my strengths in ICT and also because we have done something similar with macros in Microsoft Excel. Also i believe a module/quiz is most suitable for my client's needs and problem, as a module can interact with students better than something like a video. Also i have decided against a website because it isn't my strengths and also because it isn't suitable for my client as the school already has a Smart system.

I also found a similar project produced in the previous year at my school, so i have a understanding of what i have to produce at the end of the year. I will keep the blog updated weekly, so my progress is effectively recorded.
